Ana Fernandez is a Spanish actress. Recently, she was Carlota (the principal character) in the series Netflix's Cable Girls. Ana Kristina Gasteyer was born in the United States of America. She is an actor as well as a comedian, performer and singer. She was best known for being a part of the NBC comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live in 1996-2002. Since then, she's appeared in sitcoms such as ABC's Suburgatory TBS's People of Earth and NBC's American Auto. She also played a role in the movie Mean Girls. Gasteyer's career began with Northwestern University. Initially, she was a vocal major however, she switched to acting after joining an improv comedy troupe at Northwestern University. Her improv-loving spirit carried over to her performances as Sheila Shay, the overly-controlling character in Suburgatory and Karen Grisham the agent on Lady Dynamite.
